My 4 year old son eagerly brought this to play with while his siblings had dance class. It wasn’t THRILLING for him, but I can see us using it over time and working on learning the words. We made our own rules for the game since it was just the two of us.

It’s time for summer review before school starts again, and I wanted it to be fun for my soon to be first graders. We’re having fun playing this game, so much so, my son has asked to play it without my prodding! And the best part is, the game can be easily modified for different levels of readers. Just remove difficult words and add them later!

Let’s face it, Sight Words are incredibly important to your child and his or her development. Any way to make it fun, I am all for! I use to make sight words cards and have them around the house, but this game just helped make it more of a bit less like learning and a bit more like fun! We incorporated an air popped popcorn party into our games when so many sight words were learned. It added a bit more zest! I don’t think you will be disappointed! Help your child learn their sight words young and be a step ahead of the class! It only helps with their learning to read!!
